The Ares was an Aurora-class battleship in the Lantean fleet. The Ares was almost identical to the Orion in its exterior appearance, but the bridge was larger and had a Control chair in the center.

History

The Ares was originally owned by the Lanteans and fought in the Lantean-Wraith war, the ship survived the war but was lost in space, drifting in space for centuries until 2387 when the Atlantis Expedition found the ship in the Lantean system.
