Boss, designated RC-1138, was an elite clone commando sergeant who led the elite special forces Delta Squad during the Clone Wars, serving with commandos Fixer, Sev, and Scorch. Delta Squad, under Boss's leadership, participated in some of the war's most dangerous missions.

He later joined the Clone Rebellion, questioned the goals of the Empire and deserted soon after.
